Provident Insurance Company [PIC] Limited is a privately owned company. At its initial incorporation on 9th February 1981, Provident Insurance Company was registered with 1,000,000 ordinary shares of no par value at a stated capital of ¢5,000. Since then, the number of authorised shares have been increased to 300 million and the new fully paid stated capital stands at Three million Ghana Cedis (GH¢3,000,000). The strong capital base of the company provides it with the financial capacity to underwrite substantial risk and huge insurance portfolios of clients.

Provident Insurance is a 100% wholly owned indigenous Ghanaian Company.
